Matt Mosley Predicts a Break Out Year for Thomas

I saw a drill on NFL Access with Colt throwing the ball today and it involved Thomas, Mitchell and Elias and Elias caught only like 2 0f 6 Thomas dropped a couple but the Mitchell kid had glue on his hands. I like his size also, definitly a prototype size receiver. Could he be the Horton out of the draft this year?

I hope so. Like you said, he has good hands and size. I think the biggest thing for him is learning the shorter and more intermediate routes. He was used mostly as a longball threat in college. So far, I've heard nothing but good things about him.

Dude has to make the team first. He's a bit of a longshot if you ask me.

That would be nice, however a lot of talk is that he needs a good bit of work learning and running the route tree. He was mostly a vertical threat at Nevada.

He can't do any worse than last year, him, or Kelly, things can only go up but im starting to get a good vibe from that Marko Mitchell kid.

RIGHT ON POINT !! MITCHELL LOOKED LIKE THE BALL JUST STUCK RIGHT TO HIS HANDS ... YES IT WAS A SILLY DRILL AND #11 DT LOOKED LIKE HE WAS GOOFIN' OFF, BUT ...... MARKO LOOKED BIG AS HELL AND LOOKED SMOOTH ... IF THOMAS CAN PRODUCE, WHICH I BELIEVE HE WILL, THIS WILL TAKE SOOOO MUCH PRESSURE OFF MOSS ... I'M FOAMING AT THE MOUTH FOR THE POSSIBLITIES !!! THROW THIS MARKO KID IN THE MIX .. DON'T WORRY ABOUT ARE--HE WILL BE HERE FOR AWHILE AND WILL SLOWLY MOVE DOWN THE DEPTH CHART, BUT HE'S USEFUL AND WILL BE A GOOD PRO TO HELP THESE ROOKIES TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL ..

thomas will ball out this yr hes more comfortable than last yr

It all depends on our ability to run the ball . As far as our passing game , if we allow JC to stand tall in the pocket , we should be fine . Should Thomas win the WR spot opposite Moss , that could do wonders for R. EL , who should make some big plays from the slot . I have a feeling F. Davis is going to also make some big plays < and a few 1st downs > for us this year .
