Dockers Hogan Sandals (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/shoes/mens/sandals/casual1/PRD~416150/Dockers+Hogan+Sandals.jsp)
I am just wondering if there is a more expensive sandal that somebody on here has used that keep their feet dry.
I should try the odor eaters I guss they would stay in.
Yeah I would try some odor eaters, if they slide around try some double sided tape

Those types on sandals are super sweaty. They actually allow very little breathing where the material contacts the feet. The the bottoms are much less permeable than regular shoes and of course no socks also means the moisture just hangs out right on the feet and doesn't wick away at all. You might find some flip-flops that are made of better wicking materials..and maybe some sandals but I have never seen any sandals with that type of wicking. They make them pretty rugged and that means less wicking usually.

Maybe its because they are leather and slightly gay looking. LOL
If they were made of suede would they not be gay?? Seriously are you a five year old trapped in an old mans body??

I'm sure it could be done but you just can't use oder eaters with sandals. If you decide to try that 1) I hope your married 2) If your not married DO NOT wear them if your trying to meet a girl or going on a date.

This is the funny part my feet normally don't stink but with sandles they do.
They suggest this:
Shoe it away. Choose open shoes such as sandals whenever possible, because they allow air onto the feet, which helps evaporate sweat and slows the growth of odor-causing bacteria. If sandals aren't an option, choose leather or canvas shoes, which breathe a bit, and avoid shoes that are lined with solid rubber or synthetic materials.
I may just stick to sneakers.

Its great to never really grow up. Joking aside I think its the leather that is the issue.

This reminded me of a funny story...
One time some friends came over to my house, and there was a guy I'd never met before with them. I have people take off their shoes in my house, so I told everyone to do so. This guy says if he takes off his flip-flops his feet will smell, and I'm thinking, "Whatever, you're wearing flip-flops!" Turns out he was right. I've never smelled worse feet, and having the flip-flops on made all the difference in the world.

Doesn't silver kill foot odor causing bacteria? If so, problem solved. Buy some expensive silverware, and tape a spoon to your foot. Seriously though, i've bought some dress shoes in the past that had a silver insert sewn into the insole. Maybe there's some sandals with a similar feature?
