I would think a team like Chicago would jump on Mitchell pretty quick if he were put on the PS. You think Cutler would like to have him considering who he's got?

I don't recall if we ever actually offered him a contract, just that we wanted to bring him in for a tryout at least Either way, he may or may not make the team. I am pretty sure they felt DJ would snatch the 5 spot and it would be done but Mitchell is showing not just "pre-season scrub" goodness but he actually looks like he could help us out this year. His route on the TD was outstanding and that is a hard route to perfect. He has size and speed. Unless he craps the bed I don't see how we can't keep him on the roster. | |
