You are quite right. That's why I corrected it a while ago. It was more out of me not proofreading instead of stupidity. But I get ganged up on regularly. So regardless of what the mistake was. We need to stick to the topic at hand. Because all it does it distract from talking about football.

I will take everything with a grain of salt from now on. But anal (know-it-all) people are a pet peeve of mine. But it seems as soon as I post something certain people zoom in and try to find something.

From now on I will make my insults more covert. Is that better?

How about this: if you make a mistake, and someone else points it out, you say, "Sorry, my bad." Then we can all move on and stick to the topic.

I myself try to bring good information maybe a little fun to this board and I usually start decent threads. I don't go around being the grammar police. Are we true football fans? That drink beer. Belch. Genuinely hate the Cowboys. Sit on the lazy boy with our hands in our pants. Yelling at the screen. The ones who go to the game and tailgate with some burgers and dogs.

Or are we wine and cheese eating. Uptight. Snobbish. Narcissists. Who roam the boards and talk about correct spellings and typos. Who sit on the couch with a polo shirt eating hors d'oeuvres? I love the people on this board for the most part because we are freaking brothers/sisters who bleed burgundy and gold. But yet a cowboy fans gets more respect than I. But I respect that cowyboy fan. Because he could have easily poked fun at me for that error. But he didn't!

And Daseal was just poking fun at your spelling. People poke fun at firstdown because nobody can understand what he types and he doesn't get all twisted up about it.

While you contribute lots of important ideas and opinions to the board, its like you totally take 2 steps backwards and start getting extremely defensive about little things and start screaming and taking personal jabs at people.

When you comment in a thread about intelligence, or lack there of, I think it's important to at least use the correct version of there/their/they're when insulting others. My grammar is far from perfect, and I've caught flack for it before, mainly over IM from other members. I laughed it off, called myself an idiot and moved on from the situation.

I thought the irony of the situation was humorous and so I pointed it out.

Well they asked a few Redskins to take the exam, but they administered the exam in the End Zone, and none of the Redskins could find it.
