I'm on the "draft McCoy" bandwagon.

These QBs are system guys on NCAA powerhouse squads. They are mostly built on hype, as they are surrounded with loads of talent. SHoot it would be hard for Teebow not to look great when your team is averaging over 300 yards rushing a game. That is one helluva line in Gainsesville, same with Bradford in Norman. Do you really want to draft a guy with a bum shoulder anyway? As for Clausen and Notre Dame? I wouldn't touch a ND QB for the life of me. They play a couple decent teams a year and that is it. Not saying ND stinks, but they would be a 4-6 loss team if they were in the SEC, PAC 10, or Big 12. The guys you draft are like the Bradys, McNabbs, Flaccos, and Ryans. The guys that are very good in college, but don't garner the ridiculous amount of coverage in the media.

John Skelton

And with the right coaching, I think Rusty Smith could be a sleeper as well

Wasn't Joey T a ND QB?

I dont like either of these guys. Get a OT, we will be in the top 5 picks so he should be a beast.

Do you think Skelton would slide to the second round?

Joey T was a ND QB when ND was a true powerhouse. After they canned Devine as HC they went downhill. Lou Holtz brought them back, but the idiots canned him also and it has really been downhill ever since. The teams ND played perenially like Michigan, Mich St, Pittsburgh, the academies were all strong or respectable opponents back then. Now that group is not so hot. Weiss is a decent coach, but playing shitty opponents doesn't impress me. The Big Ten is weak this year. Iowa and Penn State are the front runners now. MIch and OSU are flawed and would be 4-6 loss teams in the SEC or Big 12.
