Well he hit that large margin. I was very surprised and even people in N. Va turned out in bigger numbers for McDonnell maybe there is some hope for them.

Just 9 months ago all the liberals here said that the conservative movement was dead. I said the problem was that we got away from the conservative movement and I think over the next year we will see that to be true.

I wont come back to the Republican Party until the vocal leaders like Limbaugh and Beck are silenced or somehow the party distances themselves. A Hypocrite drug addict and a guy who literally crys on TV...pathetic. Beck is really got to go. What happened to the John Warners, Dolyes, Reagans of this party...Cantor does give me hope...but dont look for my vote until I start seeing actions and actual ideas instead of constant complaining and whinning. All I got for leadership is Palin? horrible, Bush Vol 2 was worse than his father...No leadership has killed the conservative movement, used to be the best organized and could communicate their message much better than the Dems.

Don't worry. If you like John McCain, John Warner, and Eric Cantor, there is a place for you. It's called the Democrat Party. They have a socially conservative / socialist economic wing to their party. You might find some friends there.

I'm not trying to be cute either. There's no use in having all of your eggs in one basket. I'd vote for an independent or a libertarian if there was one worth voting for. If you want a socially liberal / fiscally conservative candidate, be a libertarian.

Never knew Limbaugh and Beck ran the party and last time I checked they have all the right to say what they want. Do you now support the Dems? If you watched any of the race in NY they went after the Rep. running there and through their support behind the conservative party guy (forgot his name).
