Levi still thinks that he's a starting left tackle; if he doesn't want to accept the role as a backup or a shift to the right side of the line you've gotta say goodbye. Otherwise, we'll let the next regime figure it out.

You all may not be happy with Levi's play as well as me but I'm interested in how he does in a Shanny OL. Levi even said he has not used the type of blocking style we use since college. He said he would have to learn it all over again or get adjusted to our scheme. Which tells me he used something else possibly similar to what Shanny uses maybe not.

I think Jones' unfamiliarity has been with the zone blocking techniques, which is what Shanahan uses

Thanks Smoot.
Also Doughty was reported to only have a sprain. Suck it up Doughty put some tape on it. :)
I guess this give some other young player a chance to be evaluated.
A high ankle sprain is a whole different animal vs. your typical ankle sprain.

Yeah it involves more severe connective tissue damage located in a spot that gets lower blood flow. Connective tissue takes a long time to heal in the first place and without good blood flow it can take months. A bad one will knock a player out 8 weeks or more. It can even require surgery.
