Boring! Do something new Chad!
Chad Johnson/Ochocinco considering another name changesaden1 12-10-2009, 07:28 PM Boring! Do something new Chad! TIFOSOdeiREDSKINS 12-10-2009, 07:30 PM it's blatantly obvious that chad does not give a fuck about the fines. he will pay whatever so he can keep being an asshole. it's an acceptable expense for him. IMO, goodell is inadvertently making the NFL look bad by bringing attention to the fact that most of these guys can piss away significant chunks of a normal person's yearly salary for a good in-game laugh or prank. suspend chad if you want to make a statement...although i personally couldn't give a shit what he does and i think it's ridiculous that they're going after him this hard. Paintrain 12-10-2009, 07:43 PM i like chad hachi go. great player, interesting antics. I agree.. I think he's entertaining and good for the game. Where are all of the critics that say he's a distraction to his team now that they are winning? tryfuhl 12-10-2009, 09:11 PM Johnson, Ochocinco, "Hachi Go"? Chad's next name change - Shutdown Corner - NFL Blog - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Johnson-Ochocinco-quot-Hachi-Go-quot-Chad-s?urn=nfl,207862) According to someone who watches his broadcasts at UStream -- which I might do someday if my television is stolen, there are no books left in the world, the rest of the internet dies and a sniper is perched outside ready to kill me the second I leave my home -- Chad Ochocinco plans on changing his name again. He made the announcement on Sunday morning before the game against the Lions. This time, the new name will be "Hachi Go," which is Japanese for "Eight Five." From Glenn S. Moore at The Dugout Sports Show: "I'm not sure how Mr. Goodell is going to take it," Ochocinco said as he held up the jersey. But why "Hachi Go"? A Japanese film crew was in town a couple weeks ago to do a piece on the Bengals for a NFL show over there. They said all NFL fans in Japan know who Chad Ochocinco(notes) is and they seriously made a proposal to Chad to change his last name to "Hachi Go". "Some fans of mine that are Japanese said I should change my last name to 'Hachi Go'." Well, by all means, if someone suggested it, you should do it. Can I be in line next? The season after "Hachi Go," I think you should be "Chad Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia." It would mean "Chad Fear of Long Words," but really, I just want to see how it looks on a jersey. Wonder if he got paid.. or if it's just a publicity stunt. 53Fan 12-10-2009, 09:25 PM Wonder if he got paid.. or if it's just a publicity stunt. Would this help him with his one person sports network on twitter? I thinking yes. Questfor31 12-10-2009, 10:18 PM The No Fun League Strikes again ... this dude is entertaining as hell. 44 70 chip 12-11-2009, 12:05 AM Most people don't get it, the guy is just trying to make a statement at the NFL's expense.... I love that he matches the NFL's fines and sends the matching funds to charities. The twitter thing where he says he's seeing a movie and buys tickets for everyone who shows up... Buying a cheap fake Diamond earring on the HBO show Hard Knocks... Instead of some $20,000 dollar diamond like TO would buy. The guy makes fun of himself and he's totally making the No Fun League look like a bunch self important old stuffed shirts who don't realize that the game is not some sacred institution, but a game for fun... I think it is pathetic that the league would give him a fine in the same neighborhood as Flozell Adam's fine. MTK 12-11-2009, 08:17 AM Ocho is good fun, but the NFL has their image to protect at the same time. I don't have a problem with Ocho's harmless antics, nor do I have a problem with the NFL slapping fines on him. mlmdub130 12-11-2009, 09:17 AM Ocho is good fun, but the NFL has their image to protect at the same time.
