Zorn says in his press conference that after seeing the video, in retrospect he would have gone for the field goal. But he also said and I'm kinda paraphrasing (but not entirely)-the call was so clever it forced the Giants to take a time-out.
Yeah, that really hurt them with only 2 seconds left in the half.

the thing that gets lost on that play is how close the giants were to scring a td on that return if he would have cut back into the middle there was a damn good chance that could have been a pick 6

I'm not sure what YOU'RE watching.
I'm seeing Haynesworth making Carter look relevant again and making Orakpo look like the D-ROY. Also seeing that in the games that've been analyzed by others Haynesworth is taking 75-80 percent of the snaps in a line that's rotated heavily anyways.

ok, I didn't expect us to beat the giants, but I also didn't expect us to lose this badly either. Jason Campbell played like how I've always know him to play, scarred and conservative. I LOVE and completely agree with Smootsmacks statement about how Todd Collins went in the game and just slung it down field, where as jason is the screen dump off short passes type.

It did seem that if JC got the ball out as quickly as TC he definitely wouldn't have endured as many hits.

It's called game planning. They had one, we didn't.

And when teams game plan against these guys that shows us that we have a lot of weaknesses on our defense.

Not sure what game some of you were watching, but I saw JC getting hit before he could even plant his foot on his third step sometimes. Not sure how much quicker you want him to get it out.

Yeah one of the knocks on him is a tendency to hold the ball, but last night was just a total breakdown in protection much more so than him not getting the ball out quick enough.

He definitely got hit way earlier than we should've let guys get through at times, but he also got hit a few times he should've found an option. I'd really have to go back and watch to see what type of ratio it was though. We would've had 3-5 late hit calls if it was Brady back there.

I think in the last few weeks minus last night's game, the redskins have showed that they can be more than respectable. But they just need to come prepared, focused, and play with effort. Funny how that makes all the difference in the world.

I agree....And I'm speaking not only about the play on the field but the lack of discipline and professionalism as well. The effort and intensity must not last for just a few games, it has to become a constant for the entire season. The pressure will be on Bruce Allen to produce early, and believing he shares a little of his father's wisdom "The Future Is Now."

It's going to take time. We've got to get a whole new o line and you can't rebuild a line in one year. I just hope he brings in some professionals and some leaders. We need more guys like London Fletcher.

TC got hit every time he dropped back, even when he completed the pass to Moss.
