53Fan 01-10-2010, 12:30 AM me: "That was pretty lame to see the team dancing around like that. Congratulations you won one playoff game."
My argument is clear. One playoff win does not warrant a celebration. Very specific claim here. You concede that it is lame, but not as lame as the Redskins season. I think this is a childish, buffoonish, nonsensical comeback (although I guess it impressed gus).
And when you talk about "too" (sic) different subjects that should never be compared, well, you prove my point.
You are not smart and I don't want your f------ cookie crumbs. Goodnight.
Do you get the feeling she's dumb as a rock and the term "Airhead" fit's her to a tee? I do.

You're right, it's picking on the mentally challenged. We should be better than that.
mlmdub130 01-10-2010, 12:37 AM so what the hell happened, did the iggles just fall apart at the end of the season, or is dallas legit? I really don't see the cowboys winning a playoff game in new orleans, but depends if the saints show up

I said a few days ago Dallas was playing well at the right time, but the Iggles really sucked tonight too. They may just be satisfied with ending their horrendous playoff losing streak, we'll see. I don't think anyone else is going to lay down for them like the Iggles did though.

Both. The Eagles had won 6 in a row and just soiled the sheets. As much as it sickens me to say it, the Cowboys are for real. Their defense is playing outstanding of late, and their running game takes a lot of pressure off of Romo. I could see them beating the Saints (again) for sure. Green Bay or Minnesota could give them some problems in the NFC Championship game though.

Yeah. The Pillsbury Doughboy has got them playing lights out right now. He should have started coaching their defense long time ago.
GusFrerotte 01-10-2010, 12:47 AM First of all she said "thanks," when what I said was not a complement, and was furthermore not about her. Unless she was one of the people dancing that makes no sense. Second, she exploited an ambiguity in the term "lame" to compare two completely different things, one a premature celebration, the other a failed season. In doing so she used a very basic rhetorical trick to avoid answering a very specific argument, and you were just dense enough to get fooled by it.
So I think you sticking up for her is lame. Although not as lame as the Cowboys 2002 season or the Taliban, both of which are lamer.
Not sticking up for her, just said it wasn't that hard to understand what she was saying.

When Mike Vick has a better game than McNabb yeah i would say they fell apart big time

and then some, i can't stand to think of how young jones and choice are and how long they will be there
definitely think they will have their hands full with new orleans, in new orleans, the shitty thing is they have a chance to play the divisional game at home, if it is ravens and cowboys in the super bowl i will kill someone
