i didnt think the game was 100% over. the only way the vikes could have burned the clock was to go for it or attempt a 47 yd (?) field goal.
you miss that fg and the boys believe again.
Exactly. There was no more running out they could do.
Also, the idea of running the score up in the NFL just seems silly to me. I know there are obvious differences between this team and that team, but overall the league does have a little bit of parity at least.
ESPECIALLY in the playoffs, there are no excuses for getting your ass handed to you.

They were not "running up" the score, they were just scoring against a pathetic defensive performance. They ran 3 times before that pass, it's not as if they were taking shots down the field on every play and even if they were, it's the NFL. Play defense and shut up.
I would not have even cared if this happened against the Skins, if the D can't stop them, why should they play soft.
I can't stand Brooking. He's an arrogant showboater in his stupid pregame pep rallies and not as great of a player as ESPN props hi up to be with the rest of the team.

They were not running up the score they just ran out of field.

Fair enough. I guess I just disagree. It doesnt make sense to score, when the game is 100 percent over. Burn the clock and end the game quicker, without rubbing it in.
Maybe Childress had Favre on his fantasy football team.

I have no sympathy for the Cowboys. They couldn't stop Rice or the Vikings all day. Man up Brooking this is the NFL.
What's funny is the Cowboys complaining about class. They have no class. They never have they never will. So I say, good on you Vikes.http://www.thewarpath.net/images/icons/icon14.gif Way to give the boys thier own medicine. And Brooking, STFU. You lost, move on. Keep your whining to yourself http://www.thewarpath.net/images/icons/icon11.gif, and if you were worried about being classy you wouldn't have signed with the Cowpukes.

I'd just like to remind everyone that over the past couple of years we've moaned and groaned about how Farve has gone back and fourth on retirement the last few offseasons (myself included). This year though I don't want to hear a peep from anyone. Farve is now officially a hero in Redskin nation. He stopped a Dallas playoff run and took away the right for Dallas fans to heckle us more then they already do. I don't know about you guys but I'm building a Farve shrine in my room right now that will make John Madden jealous.

LMAO. Great Post. I have always been a Farve fan, and I am glad he was finally able to get the Dallas playoff Jinx of his back. This may be one of his best teams ever.
