I was just thinking that. I think the King wants to be in the big apple. But DC is close to the Bay so Lebron could FINALLY perfect his crab dribble.

I think Bosh and Joe Johnson are the most likely free agent targets for the Wizards.

I don't think they're done trading today though.

Arenas is still under contract right for the next few years right? Maybe I'm wrong but they can't void his contract right?

At least they should have a couple first rounders w/ one very high pick. It's going to be awhile.

Are they trying to position themselves for a run at the King?

I don't think King James would be interested in coming here. It's going to be a while before any of the top-tier FA's are going to have an interest in coming to the Wizards.

My Celtics are looking old. I have pretty much convinced myself this is the King's year. I rather see him win it then Kobe again, I hate Kobe.

Wilbon had an interesting piece in today's WaPo. But there's no way in hell that LeBron comes to D.C. If he goes anywhere, it's the Big Apple.

Kobe has rings, King James is in the hunt. Many project the finals will come down to Kobe vs. King, if that be the case, I'll be rooting for the King despite all his other..............

good for antwan.

question - how does this Z buy out work? do the wiz have to now negotiate with the guy to come to a reasonable buyout of him owed 11+ mil?

so teh wiz have to give substantial money to Z just for him to not be on the team. and Z will be able to re-sign with another team in 30 days?

jeez, nba trading rules are F'ed up. so many trades now include crappy teams sending their good players to contending teams for nothing more than empty contracts.

glad im not a big nba fan.

If Tapp was still the coach he'd be starting, what a turnaround!!
