You've got some man-love for this kid. I'm just nowhere close to sold on him. Workouts are great and all, but on the field of play in a season where he was supposed to emerge as a high first round pick, he totally flopped.
That said, if Smoot gets released and we end up with Snead, we may need to figure out how to incorporate his name into your username. :)
I have some suggestions
because Snead didn't do so well this past year "SneadLack"
or because choosing a QB at any spot means we won't use all of our picks on O-Line and we'll be doomed you can go "SneadSacked"

But basically we won't have the "top 4" QBs throwing
top 4 in quotes because Tebow is still learning how to throw the ball and he's still a media darling at the time
what was LeFevour's excuse?

I agree with you and Holmgren. Leaving injured players aside, as a pro-to-be you should desire an opportunity to strut your stuff. And having players work in an unfamiliar environment with unfamiliar teammates is what coaches naturally want, given that it simulates some NFL scenarios and is more genuine than a choreographed pro day.
I understand The Great Sammy Baugh's logic regarding risking huge sums of money, but as it is the QB scene at the combine is lame.
So far I've read the following QB's will not throw at the combine.
Bradford
Clausen
McCoy
Tebow
LeFevour

He says he will focus solely on throwing on his Pro Day. He wants to focus on other things at the combine. It seems most QB's this year want to be more ready and comfortable by throwing in their own enviroment with some of their own receivers.

Yeah, I get that, but they're going to have new receivers wherever they get drafted, but not hurting draft stock is the goal.

Arguably the best QB's in the draft.
Now this means that Robinson, Kafka, and Pikes draft stocks will increase just by them participating in passing drills, as long as they don't really screw their throws.

I'm surprised that Tebow isn't throwing, he seems like he's on a mission to prove to scouts that he can play QB at the pro level.

He's still working on his mechanics/new throwing motion/timing, etc

LOL. I find Jevan Snead intriguing more than anything else. I'm not any sort of huge fan of his per se.

Both he and his parents are missionaries, so I'm not surprised.
