I'll try to keep everyone updated on what he says You da man Smoot! :thumb: SmootSmack 02-26-2010, 09:52 AM I'll be on a conference call at that time though so it might be tricky Anyhow Jonathan Dwyer-5'11" 229 lbs (I think scouts were hoping he'd be closer to 220 lbs) LeGarrette Blount-6'0", 241 lbs Jahvid Best-5'10", 198 lbs Slingin Sammy 33 02-26-2010, 10:45 AM this idea is based off of what? Senior Bowl practices and game. Slingin Sammy 33 02-26-2010, 10:50 AM He fumbled once during practice under center during the senior bowl. Not exactly a habit. He'll be fine. Don't you worry. Try telling him he can't do something. Any team that drafts him expecting him to be a day 1 starter will be disappointed. But he will be successful in the NFL as a QB. I really believe that.Just a quick correction, he fumbled several times under center during Senior Bowl practices. MTK 02-26-2010, 10:51 AM Waiting to hear on Colt McCoy's height and weight Curious about Bradford's weight. Is that added muscle? Chris Mortensen via Twitter: Bradford's slight build last year at Okie (around 222) concerned some teams. His 236 looks like good (muscle) weight. And from MoveTheSticks: My sources at the weigh-in said that Bradford carried 236 well. Muscled not puffy. SmootSmack 02-26-2010, 10:52 AM Shanahan says he's hired a couple more strength coaches Expects everyone at the offseason programs Expects Campbell here Will tender him next week Expects competition for the QB position freddyg12 02-26-2010, 11:26 AM Chris Mortensen via Twitter: Bradford's slight build last year at Okie (around 222) concerned some teams. Bradford's weight gain & healthy shoulder are all he needs to be the #1 pick as Schefter says he'll be. Scouts rate him high in every other area from what I've read. artmonkforhallofamein07 02-26-2010, 11:38 AM You know where i think Tebow should land. Indy. Perfect situation for him to learn and grow behind the best QB in football. The guy says all the right things about work ethis and stiving to get better. If I were him I would be begging for a chance to learn from the best in Peyton. Indy needs a backup and Tebow would be a good fit. He gets a chance to sit and learn and if he pans put then The Colts would probably be able to get good value for him if they ever wanted to trade him in a few years. Tebow also doesn't have the pressure of having to ebcome a starter any time soon. MTK 02-26-2010, 12:01 PM Indy or maybe even New England. The silver lining in all of this for Tebow is he will likely go to a good team where he can learn from an established QB and stable coaching staff. My only worry is that the Jags take him in the 1st round. They're desperate to start selling more tickets and he's a hero in the state of Florida. They've been linked to him for a while. I really hope that doesn't happen. The best chance for him to succeed will be to play behind an established qb for a few years. |
