Dirtbag59 05-03-2010, 09:57 PM Here's my pancake recipe:
Serve these pancakes with butter and syrup.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
Preparation:
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and 1 1/2 cups of milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. Blend in melted butter. If the batter seems too thick to pour, add a little more milk. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, using about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbly, a little dry around the edges, and lightly browned on the bottom; turn and brown the other side. Recipe for pancakes serves 4.

Can also be used to get Godzilla off the cart and back in the game...
53Fan 05-03-2010, 10:12 PM Not much of a pancake cook. I only use the kind where you just add water. Has anyone ever tried taking a spoonful of peanut butter, pouring molasses over it, then stirring it round and round with a fork then using a hot biscuit to dip it while eating eggs and bacon/sausage? I call it round-round and it's so good with breakfast it'll make you slap your grandma.

Big Al is on a strict diet of 7 round-rounds an hour and Grandma Romo better watch out!

I need no excuse to slap my grandma - I do it all the time - but that sounds good anyway.

Since the thread was started we've made a lot of pancakes. Pancakes are a rich source of carbohydrates which is used for energy. At this point we have enough energy in this thread for it to be sustained through the 2012 season.

when the thread will be renamed: I would love to see Mrs. Butterworth traded for Aunt Jemima.

Mrs. Butterworth has lost a step and has not attended a single OTA. I support this trade.
