And the Brett Favre saga begins again lolbackrow 04-30-2010, 12:41 PM Yeah.. like he just found out yesterday, right? Why yes, yes he did! :laughing2 freddyg12 04-30-2010, 12:44 PM The season is what, 4 months away? His timing of announcing this need for surgery is curious. He many never get mentioned in the same breath as Allen Iverson, but AI pissed Larry Brown & philly mgmt. off big time years ago when he decided to have surgery just before camp opened. He missed camp & the early part of the regular season. I would just love for Farve to say "training camp? training camp? we talkin bout training camp?" tryfuhl 04-30-2010, 12:49 PM Why yes, yes he did! :laughing2 Wait are you being serious? I highly doubt it if so. 53Fan 04-30-2010, 02:24 PM Who's Brett Favre? Monkeydad 04-30-2010, 03:10 PM I don't really blame Brett for this annual circus, he makes his decision when he does. It's the media led by ESPN who has to start hourly Brett Favre updates and discussions for 4 months nonstop. I'm sure he's not the only older player who takes time to make the decision to come back any given year...but he's the only one we have to hear about day after day after day. I like the fact he can mock the whole situation on Sear's commercials. :D Seriously, I get sick of hearing the lead story every hour being "will he play or not!?!?" There are far better stories they could be wasting their time on. mlmdub130 04-30-2010, 03:17 PM Who's Brett Favre? i think he was in something about mary but i'm not sure, name definitley rings a bell though murphy196 04-30-2010, 03:43 PM They better hope he shows since they passed on Clausen multiple times. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be back. In my opinion he should've retired after last year because unless they win the Super Bowl this year it will be a disappointment. In my opinion he should've retired after last year because unless they win the Super Bowl this year it will be a disappointment. Agreed, he can't end his career like that. He can obviously still play at a high level as one of the best QBs in the league. Of course, he just has to hope that another season won't end even worse than the last one. SmootSmack 04-30-2010, 03:51 PM Damnit, we could have traded Jason Campbell to the Vikings for Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, and Steve Hutchinson (well...we probably would have needed to throw Reed Doughty in to make it fair) Quick, someone figure out how to get Campbell back and start a thread on this possibility! mlmdub130 04-30-2010, 04:05 PM Damnit, we could have traded Jason Campbell to the Vikings for Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, and Steve Hutchinson (well...we probably would have needed to throw Reed Doughty in to make it fair) Quick, someone figure out how to get Campbell back and start a thread on this possibility! bite your tounge. i do beleive today is the first day there is no campbell thread on the main page |
