Don't drink the GW Kool-Aid just yet. Chart shows cooling trends for 2008 for most of the US.

Just natural climate shifts the Earth has had for thousands of years. It depends a lot more on sun-spot activity and natural weather occurrences than carbon emissions or other man-made factors. Awwwww , come on SS , the sun has ... nothing to do with warm weather :) . I sure as heck hope to see temps in the 80's sometime soon .

Friday, I nearly got a chub from the high seventies that we had. I haven't wanted October so bad in my LIFE.

Is it just me or is this weather making you cranky as ****? Seriously, like I was at home and I wanted to throw my pets through a window, foot sweep my wife and then burn down my trailer. LOL . I have not hit the going crazy deal just yet ... of course after all that snow we had , winter is the last thing I want right now .

When I was in Ocean City over the weekend the temp was 84-85. As soon as I crossed over the Annapolis bay bridge the temp jumped to 95 and continued to rise. This is freakin insane.

Right after Halloween thats when my A/C get cut off if Im lucky.

I love Oct. 1, when it starts being "very warm" instead of "hellish oven." :)

Yeah, I have to admit, I'd take 100 degrees over even just 3 inches of snow. I friggin hate snow.

Daniel Tosh: I love when people say 'oh I love the seasons.' Yeah so do I, that's why I live in a place that skips the shitty ones.

I can't say I hate snow , just that 3 major storms in one season is far too much . I would rather have warm weather , now I just need to save some $$$ so I can get a pool one day .

I was soaking all day today because it was 107 in the warehouse I work in. I spent most of my day washing 5 gal buckets in the commercial dishwasher in the back of my warehouse and that mofo makes the heat go up all around there.

It was horrible. Looking forward to more of that tomorrow too.

But dude the beer in the shower when you get home is AMAZZZZZIIIIIIINNNNNG.

I feel sorry for you folks. I know that many of you are not used to the heat and some of you may not be fully air conditioning prepared.

That said, what you Northeastern folks call a heat wave, we here call "June, July, August, and the beginning of September."

Yup. I'm a DC native, but after 8 years in the low-lying swamps of central Florida, I laugh at people around here. Try late August/early September in Gainesville if you want hot. And the humidity is just retarded down there. 95 up here is a far cry from 95 down there.

Homes in seattle don't have air conditioners and it's supposed to be 92 degrees tomorrow.
