Ridiculous. mredskins 07-07-2010, 09:45 AM 100 plus here in MD. Yesterday for the first time my BGE peak rewards program kicked in and they cycled my a/c from 1 to 7, when I came home the main level was 81. IT eventually cooled back down to 75 come bed time. MTK 07-07-2010, 09:46 AM I was down in Arkansas a few weeks ago and it was crazy hot, one day it was 103 and super humid, at night it only cooled down to the mid 80s. Seems that we're getting a nice taste of that type of weather. It sucks, I sure wouldn't want to deal with this all summer like some places do. firstdown 07-07-2010, 10:02 AM Yesterday when I got in my car to go home it read 103 and it felt like 120 in the car. At 6:45 I went to hit a buck of balls (my new taylor made R9 irons came in yesterday) and it was actually not that bad. ArtMonkDrillz 07-07-2010, 10:58 AM Hey, remember this: http://www.thewarpath.net/parking-lot/34568-global-warming-my-its-cold-outside.html ArtMonkDrillz 07-07-2010, 11:00 AM Yesterday when I got in my car to go home it read 103 and it felt like 120 in the car. I know the temperature always reads way higher than it actually is when it just sits in the sun but the thermometer on my car never dipped below 101 while I was driving home. firstdown 07-07-2010, 11:44 AM Hey, remember this: http://www.thewarpath.net/parking-lot/34568-global-warming-my-its-cold-outside.html I knew someone was going to pull up that thread. warpaint 07-07-2010, 12:05 PM Its about 90 right now but feels like 100 with the humidty it will get a hell of a lot hotter later today. Down here we freak out when it gets just a little cold everyone bundles up like there is a blizzard going, ya'll would laugh to see us here. One good tip: put a cool wet rag on the back of your neck it cools the blood down. Always cools me down. ArtMonkDrillz 07-07-2010, 12:12 PM I knew someone was going to pull up that thread.Well, to me when you have a record breaking snowfall and a record breaking heat wave in one area less than six months apart it makes me think that all this global warming/global climate shift stuff isn't just a bunch of BS. | |
