Could be nothing really. It's not out of the ordinary for guys to have some tightness as they start ramping back up to full speed.

Shame is Kelly has impressed when healthy.

more so than D.Thomas? I feel like DT had a distinct advantage coming out of last season, and this injury to MK just adds to it.

Sign T.O. before the ink dries on his new contract.

Redskins Insider - Malcolm Kelly expected to miss at least two days (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/wide-receivers/malcolm-kelly-expected-to-miss.html?wprss=redskinsinsider)

He will miss two days. From reading a few articles the last couple of days it appeared that Malcom was right in line with the starting job, and that Shanahan likes what he can do.

Wow, he's dropped 15 lbs. Sounds like a lot of guys are in top shape coming into this year.

No big issue yet.

Arizona's heat is likely the culprit. He'll probably be fine in a few days.

Here's a better source that says a little more than "Malcolm Kelly got hurt":

Redskins Insider - Malcolm Kelly injures hamstring at Donovan McNabb's 'Hell Week' (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/wide-receivers/malcolm-kelly-injures-hamstrin.html?wprss=redskinsinsider)

Kelly experienced tightness in his hamstring during one of the workouts, the sources said. He immediately contacted the Redskins' medical/training staff for guidance. The Redskins plan to proceed cautiously with Kelly, who worked hard to overcome knee problems and microfracture surgery after his rookie season. Coach Mike Shanahan is expected to address Kelly's situation after the first practice Thursday.

Although the injury is not considered serious, the team would rather have Kelly rest and receive treatment than try to participate in the early stages of camp. Hamstring injuries can linger, especially when players rush back before they are completely healed.

If only we still had Marko Mitchell...

Seriously though, time is running out on Kelly.

Right????

Also as pft points out MK has missed 11 games in his frist 2 seasons, but i think some of the games he has missed has been because he just wasnt up to speed on things and he cant be used in special teams. Not all related directly to injury. When i first saw this thread i was thinking his knees, which is a huge relief. Hopefully the micro fractor surgery is going to work for him. Either way lets that hammy is good to go asap.
