I would have kept Rinehart and Edwin Williams instead of Montgomery. That would bring the total to nine.

I'd also probably have Rinehart or Lichtensteiger starting at RG shortly. I think Kory will, at some point, but there's just no one else behind him.

Well I would have to say this about what we have left then.

If you think that Kory can and will start at RG at some point and we have Heyer as a backup RT. (Logic being that if Trent goes down Brown moves over) then having 2 quality backups on our line is not that bad, and to be honest we have not anything close to that in years. We do have 5 quality starters, and I for one would look at bringing in Hartwig. Granted he may not start right away but having him as a Backup is not a bad thing either.

That would give us 3. As far as Rinehart, we can say taht the staff made a mistake, but at the same time this is another one of those guys who has had 3 years to get stuff on film and 9 months to impress the current coaching staff. He did not and now he is gone.

So to the point that we are not any better than we were before is a little harsh from your standpoint on what the staff has done since they took over.

We have 2 good tackles (one good backup), 1 solid G and 2 average Gs, and one average center. I think in a year where there were limited FAs available and a bair draft pick cabinet, we came out pretty good on the Oline side on things.

Also Kelly and Thomas were supposed to be the tall "studs" you keep referring to. So we've been down that road. Do we need WR help? Yes but don't talk as if we passed on Andre Johnson to keep Banks. The 2011 draft will have plenty of potential "studs" at WR and I am sure we will end up drafting one of them.

We were doomed in 2008 when we had to draft WR's for our team. Outside of DeSean Jackson and Eddie Royal, not many have produced. NOT 1 WR was taken in the 1st round that year. WR didnt come off the board till 2nd round. Donnie Avery hasnt done much in his career wit da Rams and now is on IR. Then we picked Devin. Jordy Nelson recently lost the #3 WR spot on the packers to james jones. James Hardy was just cut by the bills. Jerome Simpson has something like 2 career catches for the Bengals. Then we took Malcolm. The Steelers took Limas Sweed, who battled bad work ethic, depression and is now on IR. Dexter Jackson hasnt done anything with the buccaneers.

Just wasnt a very good year to Draft at WR. 2011 on the other hand....... :-)

Unless there is a lockout and there is no draft.....

At first he did, but ended up signing with them a few days later.

Ah I guess I missed that.

My biggest question mark over the final 53 is the lopsided nature of the lines.

On offence we have 5 starters but just 3 back-ups, while on defence we have 3 starters and 5 back-ups and that doesn't include 4 guys listed as LBs that can also play on the line.

The offensive line works as one unit, substituting only when there are injuries, the fewer substitutions the better for the team's effectiveness.

The defensive front will substitute constantly throughout the game so while we list 3 starters, in reality 2 to 3 of the defensive backups will play as much as the starting line will.
