Rumors swirling on ESPN CP is done for the year, huge blow if true.
Portis heard his groin "pop" (out 4-6 weeks)mredskins 10-05-2010, 09:01 AM Rumors swirling on ESPN CP is done for the year, huge blow if true. SolidSnake84 10-05-2010, 09:02 AM Florio just said the same thing. Says Portis will be placed on Injured Reserve. MTK 10-05-2010, 09:06 AM Man, we're paper thin at RB. Parker and Johnson are still out there right? Wish we could swing a deal for Lynch. cowboy h8er 10-05-2010, 09:13 AM Man, we're paper thin at RB. Parker and Johnson are still out there right? Wish we could swing a deal for Lynch. parker is available but johnson found a home in NY. and i keep hearing about how well betts is doing in New Orleans..... i think well be better if our O-line improves. mredskins 10-05-2010, 09:21 AM We might have just saw CP in a Redskins uniform for the last time. SmootSmack 10-05-2010, 09:26 AM parker is available but johnson found a home in NY. and i keep hearing about how well betts is doing in New Orleans..... i think well be better if our O-line improves. LJ's in New York? When did this happen? As for Betts, interesting read here (I don't particularly miss him) The Canadian Press: Drew Brees can't say enough about RB Ladell Betts (http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5j7jA0zgTLEdLPeF6-OKe_XTiuLcg?docId=4741563) firstdown 10-05-2010, 09:26 AM McCoy played most of the game with it. I sure hope he isn't out long. I have him on 3 fantasy teams... Thats why I can't play fantasy football. Makes no sense to me how you can hope he comes back quickly when it only helps our opposition. mredskins 10-05-2010, 09:33 AM Thats why I can't play fantasy football. I feel the same way and I am thinking this is my last year of Fantasy Football, in my mind it has run it's course. firstdown 10-05-2010, 09:34 AM Torrain didnt do anything spectacular, but he did show he can get consistent yardage per carry. Portis is a skilled RB and his experience alone makes him a better RB than Torrain at the moment. But Portis cant break a tackle to save his life these days and is extremely injury prone. I agree with you that a RB should be ran and ran and ran. Riggo sure didn't have a problem with it in his day. But when its time to replace the RB then it's time to replace the RB. I love Portis but...It's Time! Wow he showed that for what a few runs against one team. I remember a running back that ran for over 200 yards in the SB and did nothing else his entire life. cowboy h8er 10-05-2010, 09:35 AM [QUOTE=SmootSmack;743459]LJ's in New York? When did this happen? maybe it was just a rumor, but i heard about LJ going to the giants with the recent unhappiness of brandon jacobs |
