I haven't been keeping up with this thread so I might be repeating some people here, but I REALLY wish we had a bye this week. I have a feeling the refs are going to go flag-crazy and every game with have an abundance of ticky tack penalties.
I really didn't notice much of a difference yesterday. I guess the great demise of the sport was a little over exaggerated.

this isnt a helmet to helmet or anything but i dont think this shouldnt be overlooked, AH looking to hit someone.

Given how touchy the league has been, I'm surprised that didn't draw a fine.

seriously, thats a really good sign imo as to his mindset and being in the game instead of just going thru the motions.
really hope it continues.

Yeah, no doubt about it. I like seeing the big hit that riles up the team every once in a while, but if we saw more forced fumbles resulting from a guy wrapping the ballcarrier up and sticking his hand in there and jarring the ball loose I definitely won't miss the big hit.
Good point!

Watch the video again, he wasn't looking to hit someone - the Bear player just got in the way as Fat Al was running to take a seat on the bench. ;)
