I tell ya I know it was a penalty but that late flag really pisses me off it's like they were waiting to see if he scored.

I agree with you here that was a hell of a late flag.

Unfortunately Shanahan wouldn't have been the type of coach that would have stuck with Campbell and tough it out one bad year for the sake of rebuilding. With Snyder as owner, the Skins have NEVER taken the long term approach to rebuilding. The quick fix might feel good at first, but we would be much better served long term if we keep our picks and build through the draft.

Trading away Campbell was a good move. He would have not lasted for long with us regardless and grabbing a 4th rounder for the future(:D) for his poor performance in the past two years was damn good. In hindsight, I think having Rex in so that our draft position would have been higher would have been the better strategy.

Still, Shanahan doesn't come in here with a mediocre QB like Campbell or Rex. Maybe a younger coach, but not MS. I just wonder if we had stuck out with some of these players and come out with a better compliment of a draft picks for the 2011 draft by sacrificing the 2010 season. Although I think the uncertainty of the 2011 season makes you wonder if any team would do such thing.

Maybe it's because our strong safety is ****ing deaf.

Shanahan does not deserved to be cut any slack either. He's a coach trying to be a GM, and the coach, aka the "must try to win every game" mentality, beat out the GM.

Hindsight being 20/20 I agree with you Sir CP. We really needed those picks!!!!! This team is in need of such an overhaul that by the time we have a solid roster in place Donovan will be where Favre is now. Too many holes to fill, and still a sorry ass WR corp. I do not think even our newbie Wrs are the answer either. AA is great for 2-3 long balls a game, but not much more. It will be interesting to see if Austin can do anything, but I would bet not much.

I agree with you here that was a hell of a late flag. The flag for the Riley block was probably thrown right away. The stupid announcers teased us saying that there were no flags as Banks got to the end zone. Don't blame the refs for that.

Yeah I guess your right. Watching it on the T.V. just seemed like a real late call. The only good thing we can get from this is that Banks has that play maker thing going on.

We were sold a bill of goods with him as well. He won 2 SBs with Elway, none after that, when his teams were still stacked with offensive firepower in a crappy division. Although I don't agree with a lot of what he says, I think Jason Whitlock of FoxSports might have hit on a grain of truth about MS and the Skins, in that he is just trying to help Kyle become the youngest HC in the NFL. Of course, the big payday doesn't hurt either!!!
