ithink it's a jinx whenever any team has an embarrassing streak going they play the redskins just in time to break it, didn't the Rams do something like that when they beat us to broke some crappy streak.

Well, the week being Sean Taylor week also seems to lend itself to embarrassments, like Gibbs' consecutive timeouts.

Shanahan (s) weren't going to turn this around in one season. We're weird in that we'll beat good teams but lose to bad ones. All I can say is rebuilding year -- hopefully there are some good personnel decisions made over the offseason (Haslett gets fired, cough) and we come back better next year.

Not the first time I've heard that. Seems everyone has their big day against the Redskins. Either breaking a losing streak or setting some sort of record. And what the F*** is with this team and getting flagged on big returns? This goes way back as well.

Remember those 89' Cowboys 1-15 of course they get their only win of the season against "yours truly"

Or the two 0-4 teams(Cowgirls vs. Redskins) facing each other on Monday Night Football and the losers were also "yours truly"

We need playmakers on both sides of the ball. I don't care what he did some years ago against Dallas, Moss needs to go.

I agree with the talent. Redskins are lacking in it, which means you have to play perfectly to win.

Calling for Moss to go is a dumb idea, considering he's been our most consistent receiver this year.

I know this loss sucks but if you adjust to the idea of having a maddeningly inconsistent football team that makes stupid penalties in the worst fashion possible (I'm looking at you Perry Riley, you didn't even have to block either of those guys because Banks was already past them) well then you won't be so disappointed after a loss like this. We are a .500 team, nothing more nothing less, and I kinda wouldn't be suprised if Mike Shanahan has tempered his expectations as such. Not to say he's not trying to win games, but I think he knows what to expect of us by now, which is a nice way of saying he knows we've got plenty of work that needs to be done for us to be consistently competitive.
