It's possible but the Vikings have a strong fan base so it wouldn't be fair to take that team away. Raiders and Chargers seem to be the most likely candidates with the Jags a distant third. Buffalo also gets mentioned but they seem more likely to move to Toronto if anywhere at all.

I don't think Al Davis is going to make the same mistake twice with regards to LA.

Why don't they just contact the Rams since rumor was they were possibly looking to move since they have not been doing well where they are with bring fans to the stadium?

If the Owners were smart they could generate a ton of money by simply having all the teams draw their next location out of a hat every two or four yrs. lol. Imagine the teams having to move and fans having to buy new jerseys every 2-4 yrs. Next yr we are the Washington Saints. Worse.... imagine the Washington Cowboys. :vomit:

I've heard many rumors...

Jags- due to low attendance
Rams
Bills
Chargers
49ers- most recently

this is the first I've heard the Vikes are candidates.

I saw Magic on Jimmy Kimmel last night. He just sold his share of the Lakers, and his Starbucks franchies because he says he's working hard on getting an "existing" team to L.A. I don't think he would of sold his share of the Lakers if he wasn't confident on landing a team.

L.A. doesn't want a team, the league wants L.A. to have a team because it's a big TV market.

They had two teams...did not go to the games, did not support them...lost them. They don't deserve a third chance.

If anyone goes there...it will be the Jags.

I don't believe Minnesota would allow the Vikings to leave. Sure, they're threatening now to get a new stadium like the Twins did...but I don't see it being allowed to happen.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. http://www.losangelesfootballstadium.com/app/vault/originals/1328299573.pdf

He's a moron. He would only be selling his interest if he thought he would be able to purchase or be partial owner of a team. The NFL already has said they will not put an expansion team in there. They are looking for a team to move there which means it already has an owner. Plus I have not heard of any owners looking to sell their team.

1. it's a different generation here in LA and we want a team. the passion for football in general is obvious with the nationally ranked high school programs and what used to be USC... our current pro team. support would be abundant, if the whole thing was done right. (stadium location, team, etc.)

2. believe it or not, but my pops and his partner train Magic at Golds Gym here in Venice, CA. yes, i've met him and he feels very strongly about getting a team here. i would definately say it's on his agenda though. he hasnt really mentioned any specifics, but i do know that he has also has other business ventures in mind, not just the NFL. but thats besides the point here. and SBXVII, he's not a moron. he's acutally a real nice guy lol but i too don't see what he plans to do with his money as far as the NFL goes... not like he would tell me, or anyone for that matter.

3. the only 2 serious stadium plans i've heard of is the one in Downtown LA next to the Staple Center, Nokia Center, LA Live, and the Convention Center. they would knock out the old wing of the convention center and build it where that was. The other plan i heard was in the City of Industry... which is not really LA. though the stadium plans look pretty(?) it just too far out, and i see many Angelinos being just too damn lazy to go out there. they did a special about this recently on ESPN on 30 for 30 i think.

4. as far as the team i would like to see here, it would be between the Vikes & Chargers, maybe raiders just cause they're THEE RAIIIDAAAHHHHZZZ. teams i dont want here include the Jags, the Jags, the Bills (they belong in buffalo), niners (they belong in SF) and the Jags. and maybe the raiders... cause they're THE RAAAIIIIIDDAHHHZZZ... and Al Davis

I wonder what i'd do about my fandom... for that team anyways. the Skins have their spot in my heart for ever lol

I've always wondered if the Skins moved to another city, would people stick with them? Not that it would ever happen, but hypothetically what would you do?

I probaly become a Ravens fan since I am in B-more or just stick to all Boston teams and cheer the Pats but I have to get the NFL Ticket to see all their games.
