skinsfaninok 12-12-2010, 10:19 PM The Caps simply don't matter to Washington nearly as much as the Redskibs do. Doesn't matter how many SAT words you use, you can't tell Skins fans to be patient while we rebuild. I don't believe for a seco d most fans would have the maturity to accept that
It's hard to "Rebuild" when we hear that shit every season.
Also notice the difference between a playoff team and a bad team,The Bucs K Barth made every kick today and we missed 2 (actually 3)
Fan033 12-12-2010, 10:50 PM When we were behind at the end of the game by a touchdown, my husband said we'll drive down the field and score a touchdown but Gano will miss the extra point. I laughed out loud at such a silly premise. Well it wasn't his fault but Gano never even had a chance to make the extra point and we lost....again. Over and over, each and every week, we find another way to lose. And every week, I feel depressed. When will we ever be good again?
vallin21 12-12-2010, 10:56 PM Hope I'm not the only guy who thinks Macho should start at least 1 game at FS (VT Grad), but Moore has been a bust at FS and I really dont see him back next yr.

I agree.........Moore isn't a player I see developing into a decent player. Way too many holes in his game.
tc2deuce 12-12-2010, 11:16 PM moore is weak
Slingin Sammy 33 12-12-2010, 11:18 PM very true, sometimes it's said to be a skins fan. this year has been really hard, this is the first time i have ever missed a home game in atleast 7 years and i missed two, we lost both(colts and bucs). and i didn't even watch a minute of the lions game(out of the country). it's a season like this that makes you evaluate how you spend you sundays and your extra cash. i love the skins and alwasy will, but until the team starts showing alot more signs of progress i will continue to be less and less vested in each game. i know we will get better eventually it's just said that this franchise has such a hard fall from the top, or not even the top but relevance in the nfl year in and year out. hopefully the shanahan's are the right ones for the job, i feel very comfortable with bruce allen as the gm and think he will be a great fixture for this team, i just don't think the shanahans will pan out, but i really hope i am wrong. only time will tell.It pains me to say it, but I agree with you. It is beyond dissapointing that we've got the #2 revenue in the NFL and can't put a winning team on the field.

Doesn't matter how many SAT words you use, you can't tell Skins fans to be patient while we rebuild. I don't believe for a seco d most fans would have the maturity to accept thatI'm all for rebuilding and I think most fans would understand a rebuild.....but what kills me is that you have a Team President / HC that is getting, what $ 7M / yr. and there doesn't appear to be a long term plan.
The moves made this off-season (McNabb, J. Brown) appear to be "win now" moves....yet if you are in a "win now" mode why do you completely disrupt a defense that has good young talent along the most important unit, the DL. The change to the 3-4, is a 2-3 year project in acquiring the correct personnel. And with it being a copycat league and the 3-4 the latest fad, the "tweener" LB/DEs and NTs are going to be hard to come by. Yet, we have on the roster a superstar RDE, arguably the best 1 tech DT in the game, a solid run stopping LDE (Daniels) and a very good pass rushing LDE (Jarmon). Between the rest of the DL we have solid 3 techs and backups for a 4-3.
On the OL, no move was made at C and Rabach is clearly done. Either KL or Monty should be starting at C. I find it hard to believe Dock just went from being solid to stinking up the joint and benched, and Heyer while he struggles in space appeared to do well at RG against the Titans, why not see if he makes a transition to G.
You know much beter than I what goes on in the FO, but from the Lomabardi article and other bits and pieces I've seen, we need to expand/improve our scouting and have MS pay the hell attention to them instead of thinking he's the smartest guy in the room.
SmootSmack 12-12-2010, 11:43 PM Considerable changes to the front office were supposed to happen last summer, not quite sure why they haven't yet

Well, a prime example from this year is that Baltimore really got deep with quality NTs when they drafted Cody. Now they can resign Ngata and have two starting caliber NTs on their roster if they want it that way.

What kind of changes? I know most of the scouting dept. stayed intact. Should we expect changes there this offseason? Maybe there were just too many things on Allen & Shan's to-do list?
