SmootSmack 01-04-2011, 05:57 PM I am sure others have said the same of you and your posts. Excuse me? SmootSmack 01-04-2011, 05:58 PM The Panthers passing on Luck because they have Jimmy Clausen would have been like the Colts passing on Manning had they drafted Jake Plummer in the year before. They will cut their losses in a heartbeat to draft Luck. Or they keep both, as I mentioned in another post many coaches and execs are starting to prepare for an 18 game season with the mentality that you need two starting QBs. Vick and Kolb. Luck and Clausen. Campbell and Gradkowski....Smith and Ponder :) SmootSmack 01-04-2011, 06:01 PM No, I didn't care to read his link and last time I checked, its my prerogative. I don't believe the sensationalism created by a twit. Don't want to read it fine, but then don't comment on it skinsfaninok 01-04-2011, 06:02 PM No, I didn't care to read his link and last time I checked, its my prerogative. Damn who pissed u off? lol Dirtbag59 01-04-2011, 06:05 PM Or they keep both, as I mentioned in another post many coaches and execs are starting to prepare for an 18 game season with the mentality that you need two starting QBs. Obviously if the Panthers drafted Luck it would still be a good idea to keep around Clausen. juskins 01-04-2011, 06:16 PM The funny thing is, who thought the same about Tom when he got drafted. I looked at all of the highlights of Luck on You Tube and I just don't see what all the fanfare is for him. He throws, mostly, a Billy Kilmer ball that wobbles. I noticed that some of his deep balls have too much air under them. He has a strong arm and appears to be mobile. Does this make him the best? Does Stanford play top caliper teams? But saying he is the best QB to come out of college in last 25 years is a stretch. Bradford is much better at what he was billed to be by the experts. SmootSmack 01-04-2011, 06:19 PM Sorry, the cut their losses comment was misleading. Obviously if the Panthers drafted Luck it would still be a good idea to keep around Clausen. Matt Moore wants to come back to Carolina. Not sure why, he should test the market. They still have Tony Pike, who I think is way overrated. And I think they're still paying Delhomme. Carolina is QB central! wilsowilso 01-04-2011, 06:24 PM Hey newbie try not to meltdown before post 100 and you get a cookie. CONSIDER TURNING IT DOWN A NOTCH! Welcome to the board. GusFrerotte 01-04-2011, 07:38 PM Do you mean John Moffitt because he's currently graded out as a 5th round pick? My guess is you're talking about their tackle prospect Gabe Carimi. Moffitt is who I am talking about. 5th rounder? I thought he was an All American! Luck is the real deal and virtually all NFL analysts agree. He lit up a top college D last night for 4 TDs. Also, the last thing this guy throws is a Kilmer-ball. |
