Is it just me or is Locker looking more and more like he's going to be our guy?

I hope he is

It's looking that way.

It's looking that way.
What makes you think that? I say this in a curious way because I haven't really seen any signs of this.

meh, it's January. A lot can (and will) change between now and the draft.

Looks like this Purdue kid may be another Clay Matthews

I'd be stunned

Oh I know it won't happen but there are a few teams that need a QB ahead of us. Its just my personal opinion I'd rather not take a risk on one of this year's QBs at #10, so if all the QBs that are worth being taken in the first round are gone it'll take the decision out of it and hopefully someone like Von Miller would be a no brainer decision.

IMO the problem with Kerrigan, who is an explosive pass rusher, is that he is too slow to play in coverage as a linebacker. And he is too small to play on the 3-4 defensive line.

I'd rather have Miller if we go that route

I'm sure Kerrigan is someone they'd consider...but still hearing Quinn's name quite a bit

That scouting report on Cam Newton has one terribly bogus projection.

4.64 forty?

No fing way. That guy is fast as ****. He makes SEC safties and cb's look like pylons.

So you think 4.64 isn't fast? It is, especially for a qb, he was running against a lot of SEC db's that run in the 4.6 range I bet.

Not saying you specifically, but I think many of us get caught up in 40 times & think that 4.3 is exponentially faster than 4.6. Sure it's considerably faster, but we're still talking tenths of a second. An elusive 4.6 offensive player can make up that difference & then some w/one quick move to get a defender behind him.

A qb that runs as fast as 4.6 is still pretty rare in the nfl.
