NFLCA chief: “I didn’t do a good job at communicating” | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/05/27/nflca-chief-i-didnt-do-a-good-job-at-communicating/)

Going back to this article. Didn't do a good job communicating? Hell, did he even communicate at all is the issue, not if it was a good job or not.

This is definitely a funny quote now since he made it.

“If there were a whole bunch of teams [protesting], I’d be concerned. I’m not concerned about one,” Kennan said.

lol... Somebody should give him a TPS report (with cover sheet) on the current situation.

And now the Bears

Bears coaches did not support brief (http://chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=7893)

I'm still waiting for one team to come out and publicly say "Yes, we were aware of the brief and we support it"

I really liked the statement from the Bears coaches.

“We were not contacted and had no knowledge that any such brief would be filed. The Chicago Bears have not authorized the NFLCA to speak on their behalf on issues related to the litigation involving the players and the NFL. We are very appreciative of how the Bears organization has handled the conditions of employment during the work stoppage.”

It makes a distinction between the two people without taking a side and even thanks the Bears organization for continuing to pay its employees during the lockout.

I only support the owner coaches in this lockout. You know the guys that coach the owners. They're the real victims here.

Seriously though what about the Owner coaches? "DANNY what the HELL is THIS? I've never seen a Hot Dog so cheap in MY LIFE! $8? Why don't you just GIVE IT AWAY! Do you want to be Forbes number one sports franchise?"

"Yes sir"

"DO YOU WANT TO BE FORBES MOST VALUABLE FRANCHISE!?"

"YES SIRE"

"Then raise those damn prices. This is the year to take over. The Cowboys are still paying off their stadium and Man U has a pile of debt the size of Mount Everest."

"Alright now we're going to run long waiting list right, spot just opened up on 2 on 2."
