skinsfan69 06-22-2011, 11:24 AM Personally, I think we should send AH to Denver. Send Albert Haynesworth to the AFC West, where his fat behind will be sucking wind in the thin Colorado air, for a 5th round draft pick and Brady Quinn. We get a third quarterback and a young guy to develop and a draft pick. Maybe not a huge pick, but at that point we'd have three picks in the early rounds, two fours and two fives.
Denver gets a DT that they actually need since they're going back to a 4-3, and maybe John Fox can bring something out of Fat Al that we couldn't.
Brady Quinn is god awful and he can't even beat out a gimmick QB in Tebow. At this point I'd just take the 5th rounder.
Monkeydad 06-22-2011, 11:31 AM HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NO on Brady Quinn. He could be the worst QB in the NFL, not joking.
scowan 06-22-2011, 11:44 AM You can trade AH to anyone as far as I'm concerned. He stays out of shape and will get injured at some point and can't play every snap. Weather he is motivated to revenge on some former team or not doesn't matter, becuase he can't stay on the field enough to make a difference. Getting anything for him, picks/players is better than just cutting him.

I say Brady Quinn because we still need a third QB on the roster (assuming Rex comes back) and it fills a whole. But hell, if not him, Eddie Royal. Eddie Royal was pretty good as a rookie when he was playing for Mike. Veteran wide receiver who's comfortable with the offense and did quite well in it in Denver.
Really, I just want to see Albert as far away from us as possible.

You forget that he was a highly sought FA not long ago. When motivated, he can play at a Pro Bowl level.

If 100Mill doesn't motivate him, nothing will...
Not assuming you mean this but just as a general statement, I really doubt he dreams of lining up against the Skins and taking "revenge" Lets be real... He does not care about the Skins one way or the other...

It seems clear to me that his big contract de-motivated him. With someone else, things may be different and he might be back to Tennessee form.
NLC1054 06-23-2011, 01:07 AM It seems clear to me that he's always been motivated by money.
His two best seasons came in 2007 and 2008. 2008 was a contract year for Haynesworth. He had two really awesome seasons, but before that, he'd just been...well, not average. He was still a pretty good football player, but the most sacks he had in a season was three, before he exploded in 2007 and 2008.
He was fighting for the ginormous contract he knew he was going to get.
If the big contract he got de-motivated him, that kinda proves that the guy only cares about the money. He got his money and then decided to stop producing.
SirClintonPortis 06-23-2011, 02:58 AM He turned 30 in June. He's got about 3 more years of decent play in him at most, and quite probably less. Haynesworth riverboat gambling style of freelancing is bound to lead to a lol play in which he gets embarassed.
Monksdown 06-23-2011, 12:00 PM I agree that he would have nil effect playing in the division against us. He doesnt have pride in himself enough to try harder just to 'get back' at us. Money and laziness are that tub's motivation, and i have a solution. Tell the team leaders that you are going to set an example of him, so that your plans are communicated. And then in training camp, stop toying around with insulting him, really insult him. Assign him to the Defensive Backs. And then run his fat ass.
The media will flip. And the response should be, 'Albert is such a tremendous athlete, and we are excited about the diversity this new skill set will add to his value for our TEAM. As the rest of our TEAM is currently EARNING the pay promised them in their contracts, i would like to spend the bulk of this meeting discussing them.'
