JoeRedskin 08-01-2011, 03:09 PM Man I hope August is cooler: July heat in Washington was unprecedented - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/july-heat-in-washington-was-unprecedented/2011/07/29/gIQA0uTzlI_print.html) Well, it's starting off in the 90's all week this week. I don't think that bodes well. mredskins 08-01-2011, 03:14 PM I am scared of my BGE bill for July, very scared. over the mountain 08-01-2011, 03:30 PM Well i think i bitched about this before but the AC has been broke in my car for 2 summers now. I drive about 2 hours a day, all highway, all sitting in traffic. I go to work in shorts, t shirts n flip flops. Get to the parking garage then change into my suit. Its been so hot lately im thinking about bringing a change of boxers as well or just free ballin it to work. Needless to say, im zapped of energy by the time i get home. over the mountain 08-01-2011, 03:34 PM That's part of camping. For guys sit around late drinking and being respectful of other campers late into the night. Mom and dad with 6 yr old wake up at the crack of dawn banging pots and pans around as they yell at little jimmy. You don't see the problem? I was camping down in point lookout solo with my dog, started partying with a group of true necks that night. they were drinking hard but had to wake up early to get their crabbin lines out. The scary part was they kept their beer in the coolers they had their raw chicken necks in. Anyways, i dont mind that Md made camping sites non alcohol. I think there are still spots you can go. Hog1 08-01-2011, 04:58 PM It's awesome that S. Florida is like.....cool compared to the rest of the country........maybe with Global warming we are the new New Hampshire? BTW....loved camping at Point Lookout firstdown 08-01-2011, 05:01 PM Well i think i bitched about this before but the AC has been broke in my car for 2 summers now. How the hell have you been driving to work for 2 yrs without AC? Have you tried charging the system with one of those kits you buy at an auto parts store? They only cost like $25 well worth the money to give it a try. If its leaking they make something you can run through the system that will stop small leaks. RedskinRat 08-02-2011, 10:53 AM 110f when I left work last Thursday, cell phone pic to prove it. Warm, you say? <yawn> |
