Don't do it - we got smoked last year. We need the draft picks.

I swear if Hog1 ever does something messed up his punishment should be having the period key removed from his keyboard lol. Thats what hell is for you Hog. A place where keyboards are unable to end sentences or express long pauses.

I understand the need for picks. Look at the Pats, they somehow draft people very well and have close to 10-12 picks every year for the draft. Majority of there picks they have are really centered in the third and fourth round, which they have done well with, not to mention drafting Brady in the 6th round. The following website is a statistical analysis of success by position on by round they were drafted (the article is an analysis from 1988-2009).

With all the trades the Redskins made, it irritates me that they have such a multitude of picks in rounds 5-7, where almost no success is possible in any position. It makes me question what Shanny and Brucey have up there sleeves. Not to mention that the Redskins are 30 million under the cap. Seems like with the new team caps they would spend some amount to attain an impact player.

From a tape-watching perspective, it's obvious to me that Torain has some of the worst vision I've ever seen in a running back for the Washington Redskins. That hasn't prevented him from breaking tackles and ripping off yards when the blocking is there (and even sometimes when its not there), but as you all know, that's only part of the story.

He only played in 2 games in 2008 (total of 16 carries). He's esentially going into his soph season.

good summary/post, with RT it all boils down to health and reading the plays better with a year in the O under his belt. He does and yep, he'll be a top 15 back. He doesn't, and he won't be worth a conditional 6th in 2015.

agreed. rt just needs to stay on the field more. i really like what i saw from him last year. love the guys power and ability to break tackles. but his pad level is really high. he kinda reminds me of a poor mans erik dickerson.
