Feel free to copy! The two things I would warn people about though are #1 make sure the frame you build is level, this caused me hours of frustration because the one on the left was off by a little so the legs had to be different angles, and two use thick plywood. My sister made a set a couple years ago (no desgin on them) with thinner plywood and it is warped and difficult to use.

I had the same problem with a set I made for my son-in-law. Corrected it by using non-warped 2 X 4s. He hasn't painted them yet, and wants one silver, for his Raider Silver and Black, and one Gold for my Redskins. He has my granddaughters so confused!

I made a set and I torn about painting them. I made mine out of oak plywood and they slide so much better then the real slick painted boards. If anyone wants to make a set you can buy the ply wood already cut from lowes you just pay a little more for them. You will have to cut out the hole.

What the heck are these things exactly?

About a year ago was the first time I heard and had officially seen a cornhole. At first my mind went straight to the gutter, but after I was able to pull out of said gutter I immediately thought of as the game I knew as "the bean bag toss".

I can only guess that the southern fried country folks couldn't say that long of a sentence so they shortened it to "cornhole". And if I'm not mistaken I thought the "bean bag toss" had more then one hole which also shows the country folk can't handle more then hole :)

Why would it be called Bean Bag Toss when the bags are filled with corn? Sounds like the south just corrected what was wrong.

Haha hey now I didn't mean to start back up the civil war here! I have lived in southern states and northern states they both have their good points and their bad points!

Yeah I should have checked the 2x4s more closely before I started! Will do on the next one.

Sweet! I like my yellow better just because it has the old school look but your boards certainly look better constructed.

They definitely look legit. A friend and i made some VCU ones a month or 2 ago..... yours look a lot better.

thats putting it lightly

i like the design of these ones alot though, the way the burgundy is kind of pointing to the cornhole is a cool idea, great job
