I've lived in NoVa all my life and never heard of cornhole before I came up this site either. I feel like they could've made a better name. Anytime cornhole comes up I tend to think of that scene in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back where the deputy tells his guys to come with him back to the station so they can cornhole a drunk.

Well, if you think about it other than in a gang rape way, you are throwing bags filled with CORN, into a HOLE cut. Thus Corn Hole. It's a southern thang. If you lived in the south instead of the north (NOVA) mooby you would be affluent to these sorts of things. It's probably b/c you don't have enough space to set these two boards 27 feet apart from each other to play. LOL :cheeky-sm

I think people tend to like goofy names for these types of games.

My friends and I call the washers game (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Tailgate-Toss-NFL-Washington-Redskins-Washer-Toss/14872490) "Flip Pie" because that's what my dad randomly called a set that I made a few years ago. The name stuck ever since because it's so ridiculous. The funny thing is my friend introduced this game as Flip Pie at some Penn State alumni events and now there's a whole group of them that only know the name as Flip Pie.

Anyway, good work Jontrem
