Don't see that being the case. I think he can still make the team but I do not see him being the starter at all. Hightower and Helu have played too well IMO to have neither of the two be the starter. Helu is faster, more agile, and a better receiver. Furthermore, he can be deadly even in limited action as a #2. He might be. He'll need to play this week. If he does not play against the Ravens, and show what he can do further, he might be gone. I think our best option is to have Hightower/Torrain/Helu going into the season... but if you can't stay healthy, you can't make the team... There was some speculation that he may silt out until the bye week. Not sure though. I mean Vonnie was a good guy but from a production standpoint I am not sure what they were thinking in the first place. Now they've gone from an abundance of talent to scrounging the free agent pool and waiver wire.
