A part of me--- a very, very small part of me-- would like to the see the Eagles represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, provided the Redskins don't make it.

Gtothearry 08-30-2011, 02:43 AM I give him two years on that contract and then he will either restructure or be cut. In other words he will not live up the contract........... Giantone 08-30-2011, 03:59 AM I am happy for him. He personifies redemption and I doubt he will disappoint. ...he also "personifies a "DOG KILLER".:bs: SolidSnake84 08-30-2011, 07:03 AM ...he also "personifies a "DOG KILLER".:bs: Please don't take this the wrong way, but I want to ask you a question? I am done debating on Vick and Prison and all that, but i have seen some of your posts about Vick, and i really get the assumption that you wouldn't feel as negatively about Vick if he had only killed a human being. Not trying to judge dude at all, but I've talked to alot of these Michael Vick haters at my new job, and the consensus among them, is being that Animals now hold surperior rights to a human being (you know the animal bill of rights and constitution and all that), If Vick would have killed a person, be it in murder or drunk driving, he would have gotten off lighter in the eyes of the fans. I'm kidding about the animal bill of rights man, but I'm serious, among all my travels, and I've been outside the U.S., I swear this must be the only country on earth where we give animals in some cases more rights than humans. We will spend a billion dollars on animal rescue places and shit like that, but homeless people are treated like garbage and nobody gives a damn. Longtimefan 08-30-2011, 07:06 AM Two yrs, ago, no one would have believed Vick would ever strut that kind of weight again. Good for him. budw38 08-30-2011, 07:18 AM Please don't take this the wrong way, but I want to ask you a question? I hope he does alot of good with that $$$ , maybe help homeless/ rescue shelters ( Human and Animal ) I guess we will see what kind of man he is over the next few years . mlmdub130 08-30-2011, 07:29 AM NFL.com - Official Site of the National Football League (http://www.nfl.com/) All I can say is wow! me too, time will tell, but this seems crazy high for a guy that most likely won't play all 16 games. hooskins 08-30-2011, 07:30 AM Please don't take this the wrong way, but I want to ask you a question? I think it takes a very sick person to do the things he did. Product of environment and all. I don't think a person who has done that can inherently change. He changed because he got caught and im not saying he shouldn't be accepted for it but I don't think he should be crowned. There is a difference between killing an animal and abusing it to death. MTK 08-30-2011, 08:02 AM Just not sure what the rush was to lock him up. If I were the Eagles I would have made him prove himself another season. Prove he can stay healthy over 16 games, and not fade out after a hot start. CRedskinsRule 08-30-2011, 08:11 AM Just not sure what the rush was to lock him up. In fact they could have franchised him next year again, and seen what develops. With his style, and their line, and our division, he easily could get a season or career ending injury, and then they have really put themselves in a hole, imo. |
