Regarding the ending last night, I didn't see that coming.

And I'm wondering what the Dr. said to Rick before they left the CDC.

If it's like the storyline from the book it's a huge curveball that will rear its head soon and I don't wanna spoil it if it is what I think it is haha.

I have lots of friends who rave about the show. I had the day off today so I watched the 1st episode of season 1 on NetFlix today. Really good.

The first season was only 6 episodes, so I'll be up to speed quickly.

No one saw that coming. I mean we all knew that there was a scene where Rick was carrying what was likely going to be either Sofia or Carl through a field toward the farm but no one knew what was leading up to that part.

They've been doing their own thing with the story as certain characters are suppose to be long gone by now. Heck Daryl Dixon was made for the TV version and has never been in the comic though ironically the author of the comic is thinking of adding him to the current story. Daryl is the hunter with the crossbow in case anyone is drawing a blank.

Either way the Walking Dead is the first instance I've seen where a franchise has been able to put together such a compelling story while creating it's own version of the source material.

Lucky bastard. It's an amazing show. Personally though it takes me a while to get through an episode. So many tense moments where you don't know what's going to happen to certain characters that it's hard for me to just plow through. I don't know why but I have trouble sitting through any movie or hour long show

Very!

I watched it last night and the 90 minutes went by in a flash. It was awesome.

I think I said this before but does anyone noticed the HD picture on Walking Dead seems very grainy?

it may be grainy on purpose to have that throwback to 60s black n white horror shows. like romero's living dead. tarantino (deathtrap movie) and others do it to.

i guess im alone in thinking that season 2 episode 1 was disappointing. its like the writers are intentionally keeping the progress at a snails pace coming up with some (what i feel like) unneccesary acts like the girl running into the woods instead of to her mother, the guy deciding to tell the girl to hide instead of just easily bashing the 2 walkers heads in like he did anyhow then the long prolonged search for the girl.

im guessin the girl finds something or was found by something and it will add some new human or humans and aspect to the core characters but dang man . . . episode 1 of season 2 started with their progress being stuck on the highway. ep 1 season 2 ended with them stuck on the same highway minus the girl.

it was also an economical episode set/scene wise.

just dont like what i feel like uneccesary things thrown into the plot/storyline that seem to have no impact or importance to the overall storyline . . .unless the girl finds or is found by new characters who join the group. then i guess her running off had a purpose and drove the storyline.

Yeah the grainy washed out look is done on purpose. Think I read they shoot on 16mm.

Yeah I get that but it just looks dumb in this adaptation. I could see if they were remaking Night of the Living Dead but this is a modern version.

Anywho just being nit picky great series otherwise.

Everyone watch American Horror Story another great scary flick!
