Manning v Manning twice a year would be a prime matchup for the league.

Manning v Manning twice a year would be a prime matchup for the league.

Honestly looking at this move from a league stand point and in particular from a Fox stand point this would be huge for any network airing the game as far as ratings and pre game hype machine. Throw in that the Redskins and Giants could both be in the hunt for the division and playoff spots at the end of the year, the TV networks would salivating for this matchup twice a year.

Throw in the fact that DC is a huge market and the fact that a guy like PM could come in here and turn this deal around fast making the Redskins a NFC East, playoff contender, and SB contender for a 2 or 3 years it would be a huge, both beneficial to the Redskins and Peyton.

So for if Archie doesn't want it to happen he is just trying to save Eli from being embarrassed by his older brother twice a year.

Can a father really try and control the older Manning's career? He may have been able to get away with it when Eli was a rookie, but you are talking about a grown ass man here who has accomplished more than his father ever did and could become a hero in the Nations Capital.

There can be more reasons made for Peyton to come to DC then there are for him not too.

I say go get RGIII. Don't give away the farm but be willing to part with a piece or two of heavy equipment. Right now I'm willing to give St. Louis two first and our second as well as an additional pick next year.

RGIII is a legitimate first overall talent, just so happens that he's in the same draft with a once in a generation prospect. He is the real deal, unmatched athletic ability, rocket arm, pinpoint accuracy, and a mind thats more impressive then all of that.

And as a lot of you are aware of things don't start happening until you start to get real production out of the QB position.

Anway heres how I see it, we can trade back and pick a bunch of nice pieces, draft a project like Tannehill, and risk our coach being fired provided he eeks out a .500 season. Or we could draft RGIII, give him an offensive mastermind like the Shanahans and still have a QB prospect that can excel under any coach in the league should the Shanahan experiment prove to be a failure in the near future. In other words there would be hope should we have to start over.

To me thats much better then seeing Shanahan get fired next year or the year after and being stuck with Tannehill.

I agree I think RG3 can start for us day one like Dalton and cam did this year and have an immediate impact. Heard GB wasn't going to franchise flynn but apparently Seattle and Cleveland are heavy suitors for him. Either way No QB equals another losing season and mike wont last another 5 win year, and he shouldn't if that's the case.

Sign Matt Flynn and draft Kellan Moore in the 2nd:) Pick up an OL with the 6th pick, and sign 2 of the 3 receivers V. Jackson/Desean/Bowe and we're suprebowl bound. If the Giants can make it this far then so can we! We're just a QB and a stud WR away.
