TenandSix:Unacceptable 01-17-2012, 01:32 AM By hook or by crook we need a qb. Put me in the make the best package to move up and get rg3 camp. EARTHQUAKE2689 01-17-2012, 01:32 AM No on trading for Colt. If the Browns did draft RGIII (which at this point a lot of what I'm reading suggest they won't) then I would rather either see if Blackmon falls to us and then see how to acquire Tannehill or Foles or trade back and draft Tannehill or Foles. And I wouldn't worry about the Seahawks drafting Tannehill in a trade back because if the Browns take RGIII and we still need a QB then chances are Flynn is in Seattle. Still I would be more upset that they didn't pay the price to trade up for RGIII. What you want to fight? \ You want a piece of me to? BRING IT! I'LL TAKE ALL OF YOU ON!>!!>@#@>@#@ Not to be a grammar professor but too is the correct form there. P.S. To quote Bob Barker "I don't want a piece of you, I want the whole thing!" EARTHQUAKE2689 01-17-2012, 01:44 AM I still say: Rams get: #6 overall pick in 2012, 2013 1st round pick, 2012 and 2013 3rd pick and 2013 5th round pick. If we have to trade. REDSKINS4ever 01-17-2012, 02:05 AM If the Browns draft RGIII what does everyone feel about trading 1 of our 4th round picks for Colt McCoy, if that was enough for the Browns to trade him? I would be all for it, he is still young and has potential to be good. He came from the Browns who don't have very much talent on offense, so I think he would be more capable with the Skins and the talent we add this off season. He has the mobility that Shanny likes. Then we would have our young starting quarterback plus # 6 overall pick and 6 other selections. I haven't seen this discussed anywhere. Then we could still draft another qb such as my guy Kirk Cousins, to completely re-do our qb situation. I like the idea of of building this Redskins team with quality draft picks, not trading picks for unproven quarterbacks. Not taking anything from McCoy, but he hasn't been consistent enough in Cleveland to warrant consideration. I'd rather the Redskins draft their own QB in the 4th round, or perhaps continue to develop Jonathan Crompton to see if he might amount to something in the near future and use all of their 4th round picks where they are needed in order to retool the roster. If they draft Cousins, Foles, or RG3, I'd be satisfied with that too. Big C 01-17-2012, 08:40 AM can anyone explain why so many people on here want kirk cousins? id like to hear what they like about him that would make it seem like he could be our starting qb down the road, because i just dont see it. Meks 01-17-2012, 08:45 AM Best player at 6.. if its not a qb grab foles in the 2nd/3rd REDSKINS4ever 01-17-2012, 08:58 AM can anyone explain why so many people on here want kirk cousins? id like to hear what they like about him that would make it seem like he could be our starting qb down the road, because i just dont see it. Cousins wasn't a bad QB in college. He's not RG3, Andrew Luck, Matt Barkley or Landry Jones, but he was fairly consistent. When most people view Cousins as a quarterback, they see him as a developmental prospect. In his senior year at Michigan State, he throw completed 267 of of 419 for 331 with a completion percentage of 63.7 with 25 TDs 10 INTs ending with a 145.1 QB rating. His numbers in college actually wasn't bad at all. He's exactly what Colt McCoy was in his final year at Texas. But Cousins would be anywhere from a 3rd to a 5th round selection. Me neither. He seems like a career backup to me. freddyg12 01-17-2012, 09:04 AM can anyone explain why so many people on here want kirk cousins? id like to hear what they like about him that would make it seem like he could be our starting qb down the road, because i just dont see it. he got my attention in their bowl game, but just as soon as I was thinking that he looked pretty good, he threw an unexplicable pick in double coverage. Overall, he seems like the kind of guy that Shanny would pick, believing that he can mold him into a solid qb. He has all the attributes on paper, might be good in a few years if he could hold a clipboard for a while. I'd be happy if we got him in the 4th or 5th after getting our franchise qb in the 1st. Either way, we really need 2 qbs in this draft. Hog1 01-17-2012, 09:09 AM No on trading for Colt.
