I would not call him a cancer.
A reporter I trust down here in Miami says that in his 15+ years covering the Dolphins, Marshall was the single most selfish player he'd ever seen or covered. Very good talent but he's a team killer.

I wouldnt get Talib this year, Id wait to see how things pan out with his attempted murder charge. I would actually concentrate next year on Ryan Clady when he b/cs a free agent over Talib
I think all the Skins supposedly did was inquire about him. I think if he doesn't go to jail and gets a small suspension from Goodell or none at all then a late round draft pick wouldn't be bad. The article even says the Skins can sit back and wait. If he doesn't go to jail then heck I'd give a late round draft pick even if he had to sit out some this year, give him a strict contract with an out if he gets into trouble and I'd be fine with that.

Tim Hightower believes in his team. Perhaps the Patriots offered him more money than the Redskins did, but his heart was in Washington. The Redskins have the right players in place on both sides of the ball to make at least 5 straight playoff appearances. This Redskins team is like a time bomb waiting to explode. Hightower strongly believes championship caliber football is on the way.

Here is the link to Talib's case being dropped. Honestly, I would be real happy to get him.

Goodell will still suspend him. He has suspended non-convicted men before.
He'll either cite the "personal conduct policy" or just use his current line saying "Talib violated the spirit of the law".

No that's John Mara's law. Although who knows, with the ego Mara has, he might try to suspend Talib before Goodell would probably step in and tell Mara not to do his (Goodell's) job.
