The Friday thread

Another Friday, another weekend ahead. I've got a friend's bbq to go to tomorrow, might try to check out the new Batman on Sunday.

I have a B day party to go to tonight and golf tomorrow. The rest of the weekend I'm clearing off our lot some before we begin to build.

I'll spend this weekend fighting the urge to buy a new (used) motorcycle.

Party with former students tonight. Then yard work and kickin' back the rest of the weekend.

Today hasn't been exceptionally great so far. First the news about the Batman shooting (which I'm sure everybody will be discussing, especially since me and friends were considering going to see it this weekend), then I forget my wallet so no lunch at work, plus it's pouring rain outside, which is supposed to last for the rest of the day, and I don't get to ride HOV today because my boss is on vacation (which makes my 1/2 hr HOV commute into a 45-1 1/2 hr disaster). Me and a friend were considering going to the Nats game tonight, but we've cancelled since he has other things to do and it's probably going to get rained out anyway. Hopefully this weekend will be better. I don't have plans, aside from maybe going to see Batman with some friends possibly tomorrow night.

I will be putting together a coffee table and a bookshelf that I've been putting off for a couple of weeks. Other than that well have a couple of friends over to play poker/dominos and smoke some Hookah.

Might see Batman but I don't know if I want to with packing some heat given the craziness of people
