Madden '13 player ratings

I've played as the Redskins in the demo about 3 times now, and I'm sold on the game so I went ahead and preordered off Amazon (that $15 credit will come in handy eventually). The game itself is very smooth, I like the presentation changes they made, I love playing with RG3, and I'm excited to see how the new franchise mode plays out since I didn't buy last year's game. This feels a lot better than the last time I played.i skipped last year too, i think it was matty who told me that you can finally change the structure of contracts (other than changing the bonus). by the time i got into year 3 or 4 of my franchise, i had shit-tons of cap room and wanted to front-load contracts. sounds like now, i can finally do that

Ok big football day for me all the way around. My 9 years running Fantasy Draft is tonight at my home with 9 other guys (I am the commish). BBQ with all the trimmings and trash talking about the lame guys that my other GM's pick too early or that are not playing (that's you MJD). When that's all over around 9pm it's time to drink some coffee so I can make it until midnight to run to Gamestop and pick up my already paid for copy of Madden 2013!

How are people liking the game?

Best Madden in years.

This is coming from someone who had pretty much given up on Madden in recent years and was playing NCAA all the time for my football fix.

The new physics engine isn't perfect, but it is a step in the right direction for the franchise.

Passing is tighter and just more fun than ever.

I haven't even really scratched the surface of connected careers yet, but like the new physics engine I think it's a huge step forward and will only get better with time.

For people who always want to bitch about it being the same game each year, that complaint falls on deaf ears this year.

This week the game is on Wednesday. Unless you're talking about the dingus-dingleberry regular season opener next Thursday night.
