We've cut Tristan Davis, so this would leave us with ONE healthy RB and he's a rookie. I don't believe it. We just re-signed him and I thought Mike Shanahan loved him. Unless we're bringing someone else in...I keep going back to Ryan Grant who we've been reportedly watching for a while...I don't think we could get away with making this move. Grant would be a big downgrade from Tim too. More importantly, Hightower is the best pass-blocking RB we've had since Portis. Griffin needs him more for that than gaining yardage. Apparently his little setback yesterday was not so little. Even if he stays he likely might miss the first couple of weeks But that's just speculation at the moment.
