If we did cut Barrow (and CC you can correct me on this if I'm wrong) I was under the understanding that we save very little cap wise. I dont see why we wouldn keep him around to try out and see what happened. Given his track record; he could have been a very good player if he stayed around and got healthy. I wasent holding my breath for him to magically heal, but if we dont save alot of Cap, I think we should have just hung on to him to see what happens.
I can't find anything to confirm it so I'll say no, he hasn't been cut

I'm pretty sure that was just speculation. I think they're planning on keeping him for now. Maybe they'd think about cutting him if they signed another MLB, but I can't see them cutting him without a replacement in hand.

i heard that too but didn't see anything online!! might this be a way to open room up for pierce or is that settled? i mean we did sign a cheaper wr who is by the way amazing and releasing barrow w/ no mlb i think we might be trying to open room!

mabye barrow is going to be a june 1st cut guy. Im not sure of his cap ramifications for cutting him. If we cut him, talk about dead cap space. Never even played a down
It doesn't make much sense to cut him now unless they're convinced he's not going to ever make it back to 100%.

I hope he is healthy and starts for us. Hearing on the radio that he was out though made me wonder about his health. Mabye it was just a rumor, we cant find any info on him anywhere. If hes healthy then there was no reason to resign pierce for that type of money
