Whether he's guilty of pulling the trigger or not, he has no one to blame but himself for putting himself in a very poor situation. yep JoeRedskin 06-26-2013, 11:07 AM Meanwhile, Ausur Walcott (Browns rookie DL/LB) charged with attempted murder Once he signs his $40 Million extension, the TV trucks will be on his lawn too. mredskins 06-26-2013, 11:09 AM How did cutting AH hurt the Pats $$$ wise? RedskinRat 06-26-2013, 11:11 AM A weak division gets you to the playoffs. It does not get you the amount of SB wins that San Fran won during the late 80's and early 90's. To get that many SB wins with a weak team would involve a weak NFL, not a weak division. They had a strong team, no doubt. Now look at their divisional opponents during that time. It's similar to the NE situation, that was my point. Weak team winning the SB? Dafuq? MTK 06-26-2013, 11:18 AM How did cutting AH hurt the Pats $$$ wise? Pats will take at least a $7.5 million cap charge for Hernandez in 2014 | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/26/pats-will-take-at-least-a-7-5-million-cap-charge-for-hernandez-in-2014/) Monkeydad 06-26-2013, 11:20 AM How did cutting AH hurt the Pats $$$ wise? Well since he'll likely never play again, it had to be done regardless. We won't be seeing a Ray Lewis-like return under Goodell. Ray committed his murder under Tagliabue, who was less of a disciplinarian. Chico23231 06-26-2013, 11:26 AM I cant believe the NFL players continue to commit crimes at this pace. So your gonna have 2 players today charged with murder-related crimes? mredskins 06-26-2013, 11:29 AM Pats will take at least a $7.5 million cap charge for Hernandez in 2014 | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/26/pats-will-take-at-least-a-7-5-million-cap-charge-for-hernandez-in-2014/) Ouch! CultBrennan59 06-26-2013, 11:45 AM I cant believe the NFL players continue to commit crimes at this pace. So your gonna have 2 players today charged with murder-related crimes? Theres a famous saying I've heard before on the NFL shows by former players and coaches. "You may leave the hood, but the hood never leaves you." A lot of NFL players come from bad areas and being great at a sport is their only way out of the hood (meaning less of a chance of them going to jail or ending up dead because of gang related activities). I still remember when I was at Tysons Mall back in 07 to get Clinton Portis, Santana Moss and Sean Taylors (he had a 'delayed flight' so didn't show) autographs. Along with them was TJ Houshmanzadeah and Chad Johnson. My immediate thought when I saw them wasn't "Wow thats Chad Johnson" it was "Damn, they look like street thugs." If you were there that day in the mall you would have said the same thing. The redskin fan behind me said the same thing, something along the lines of "He looks like he's a character from The Wire". Fast forward to today and Chad not only looks like a thug, but he is a thug. Headbutting his wife and cheating on her and smacking lawyers asses in court. The point is the hood never left Chad Johnson. It just enrages me that these guys have their lives set when they get to the NFL and they all go blow it all away. |
