SirLK26 09-03-2013, 03:11 PM Don't you mean Ryan Kerrigan? I think you have your OLBs confused. Kerrigan is the "pick you off go for a TD" LB. I don't think Orakpo has even one INT in all his time here.
No, I knew exactly who I was talking about. Orakpo is known primarily for his pass rushing abilities. But I'm thinking he's going to be flying around the edge, while Kerrigan or another pass rusher is coming around the other side. Vick will try to dump it off to McCoy, and Orakpo will be right in the way, positioned perfectly to take it to the house. If this really happens, you'll have to recognize me as the genius I am. :)

LMAO, yes I will. I will be the one yelling "Genius!" at my TV Monday night if that happens.
Paintrain 09-03-2013, 03:26 PM Redskins 56, Eagles 29
Damn it must be a new day.. Early season optimism from GTripp! :oink:
CRedskinsRule 09-03-2013, 03:49 PM I love the NFL Films clip of Griffin yelling "It's our night!". It will be again. A small personnel wish that might be discouraged here, is that I hope Reed Doughty, not Meriweather, starts at S. The up tempo that the Eagles are going to run will be stressful on a guy who has been in and out of practice. Doughty on the other hand has enough ST work that he is definitely well conditioned. We might lose some in coverage/big hits, but he will keep the running lanes clogged, and Rambo will just have to hold his own. Probably a tough task at first, but as many have pointed out, he is smart and learns.
The offense will be truly on fire. No doubt in my mind, Griffin when healthy gets BIG games and isn't going to shrink or wither on a Monday night stage, and the offense will follow his lead!
40 - 17 Skins seems right to me. Jackson will get a score, maybe two of defensive miscues, but it's not going to be a dogfight in any sense of the word.
Defense of the NFCE title starts on MNF!!!
drumkat44 09-03-2013, 03:49 PM Damn man. You make it sound like its 2009 all over again and we can barely score over 17 points.
None of that.
Redskins - 27
Dirty birds - 17
Lol. Yeah it's still hard for me to believe how far our offense has come. From one of the worst to one of the best. A touchdown used to take a miracle it seemed. After watching some Eagles preseason with Kelly/Vick I'm concerned but still confident. It would be awesome to embarrass Vick the way he did us on that Monday night! HTTR!

I think we might need an intervention: "GTripp, we need to talk. We need to talk about you and your problem with Kool-Aid. Dont go the way of Aceindahouse. He drown in a puddle of it."
skinsfaninok 09-03-2013, 04:05 PM Lmao at gtripp
bigmarley4 09-03-2013, 04:14 PM Skins - 24
Eagles - 17
Game is not as close as the score indicates as Skins head out to a 21-3 halftime lead riding a lot of Alfred Morris & a defense that completely shuts down the Eagles offense. Robert mainly hands off with a few play-action tosses for big gains, including 2 redzone TDs to Davis and Garçon. Eagles score 2 TD's late with the game already in hand as Kelly desperately tries to avoid a blowout in his first NFL game.
Griffin: 12-15, 210 yds, 2 TD's & 4 rushes for 22 yards
Morris: 26 carries, 148 yards, TD & 4 rec, 34 yds
Davis: 6 rec, 71 yds, TD
Garcon: 5 rec, 80 yds, TD
Offensive player of the game: O-Line!
Defensive player of the game: London Fletcher
JoeRedskin 09-03-2013, 04:15 PM I think GTripp's score is conservative.
A new day folks. A. New. Day.
