Kinda off topic but, Is it just me, or does it seem to others that a lot of a Skins fans are teetering back and forth between : "Griffin needs to stay in the pocket and not get hurt" and "look how well we do when Griffin runs, that's what we're good at, we gotta stick to that game plan."

Personally, I would like him to develop the skills he needs to inside the pockets. As I've brought before, Zone blocking OL tend to be smaller and not as good at pass blocking, which worries me, but that is why Elway succeeded, not only because he was mobile, but also because he had a quick release. That is the big thing I'm waiting to see from RGIII! A consistent accurate quick release. Also, do you think he will ever call audibles, hot routes, etc. more at the line of scrimmage like Peyton? Have I heard the Shannys don't like that? Is there any truth to that? I just think that if he could develop those skills, than he could carve defenses up from the pocket and not get hit constantly and then he could take whatever yards he can get on the ground when the right situation presents itself and avoid risky plays. I'm blown away by his talent, but I have to say I will be disappointed if his skill set doesn't expand beyond relying on his threat as a runner to give himself time to pass.

He has plenty of time to develop as a pocket passer. In the meantime it's silly to not take advantage of his ability to run.

Sure, and it's fun to watch too, but I guess I just mean, for the price we paid, I'm hoping for an all around great QB with running ability, and not after 5 years in the league.

The offseason is the time to work on development. Unfortunately he missed out on that this year.

That's true I guess, I mean I assume you have to experience it in a game though to fully realize a skill, but I suppose the techniques and mechanics start in training camp. I'm not complaining or anything, nor do I expect he should be much further along, I guess I feel the "plan" for RGIIi is somewhat cryptic, perhaps by design, but I just hope what we see now is not the long term plan.

Trying to be realistic and prepare myself for the 2-5 record.
Can we win this game? yes, we can.
Will we win this game? No, i dont believe so.

Dont you know there is a cosmic connection between your posts and the outcome of the game?

Amazingly enough, two losses in a row is not uncommon for Manning

Manning is getting ready to face the best pass rush to date with Orakpo, Cofield, and Kerrigan. I feel solid about Hall, Wilson and amazingly enough Amerson.
The Safety position.... ohh boy not good.
I do believe our only hope is to blitz the hell out of him, that would force them to keep the TE in and help block. However that still leaves three damn good receivers. The offense has to sustain long time killing drives or the Defense will ripped apart in my opinion, especially if they try and play zone.

Denver is trending down for sure the last few weeks. Starting with the Dallas game, followed by the Jags - imo the Jags best game of the year, and a loss to the Colts. The Skins seem to be trending up.
Im just not sure if our up is ready to catch their down quite yet.

"Theory" - a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, esp. one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained.

That's the thing about theories, they kinda require proof if you want to present them as fact. Otherwise theories are basically just opinions and if there's no proof, they can't be presented as fact. Just because a lot of people share the opinion that Shanahan tanked that season, doesn't mean he actually did.

I think Hypothesis should have been the word.
