KI Skins Fan 10-26-2013, 11:54 AM The Skins defense should disregard the run entirely. Play 5 or 6 DB's at all times and go after PM relentlessly on every down. Invite them to run more than they usually do and, if they take the bait, they'll slow down their own scoring machine.
We should run the ball a lot, too. Limit the number of possessions the Broncos get, try to keep it close and be the last team to have the ball.
Who cares how many rushing yards they get if we win?

Is it easy to go after the qb relentlessly and play 6 db's at the same time?

Probably not unless a DB blitzes.
My concept is to use our speed rushers as much as possible in this game and for the inside LB's to play less, even if we give up a lot of rushing yards.
I think that Orakpo, Kerrigan, Jackson, Tapp, and B. Jenkins could conceivably be on the field at the same time with Cofield and 5 DB's. Not on every down, of course, but I'd like to see Haslett give the Broncos something to worry about - namely PM staying upright.
RedskinRat 10-26-2013, 03:20 PM If Manning plays, he'll go down with an injury before the half. Our D has been vicious on opposing teams all season, this game will be more of the same but better. Look for Rambo to finally 'get it'.
Redskins win a shocker, world goes silent. Except for the muttering about the team name.
artmonkforhallofamein07 10-26-2013, 03:42 PM I got a feeling we will play a lot more like a 4-2 team then a 2-4 team, and shock the football world.

Well i do agree about relentless pressure anyhow. We certainly cannot sit back and let PM pick us apart. We might get burned on a couple blitzes, but if anything we will get in his head if we just keep bringing the heat, and possibly knock him out of the game.

Punch, I didn't say they wouldn't be muttering about the Red Skin logo. Obviously they will.

SFREDSKIN 10-26-2013, 05:59 PM They are going to have to stop:
Wes Welker
Eric Decker
Demarius Thomas
Julius Thomas
I hope our CB's and S are up to the challenge.
