So he had a press conference to say he's 99% sure he would retire? I get the feeling this was partly done to take the heat off everything else that is going on right now


Just doing what best for the team and putting them in front of his own self interests as always.

Isn't this the last home game this season? That would explain the timing. If it distracts from the other nonsense, that's a side benefit/

I wonder honestly if he would have came back for one more year if we hadn't have shit the bed this year. I kind of wonder if he felt like Barry Sanders, where he knew he could physically play but all the drama and BS just took it out of him....
