I don't get all the love for Carriker.
He hasn't done squat as a Redskin.
His 2011 season was pretty strong. Too bad he just can't get healthy.

Who else is a strong possibility for the chopping block?

I would think Bowen and possible 2 on the Oline.

If they cut Bowen it leaves 5 million in dead cap. They would save just under 2 million. Maybe they feel its worth a shot to see how he comes along in camp for just 2 million. What can you get on the dline for 2 mill. I say cut his ass and spend 4 to 6 on a healthy guy that can rush the passer a little.

Carriker has been paid about $10 million dollars per tackle the last two years. if he cannot stay healthy he has no value.

Carriker missed 30 games and was due a whopping $6.5 million dollars against the cap....he was a great fit in the defense but it isn't surprising that he was let go.......

^ the great OL swap has begun. Steiger and Chester shouldn't feel too comfortable.
